Here are some things that will help you during your stay in our villa!
Arrival at Palmetto Dunes
When you first enter Palmetto Dunes (on Queens Folly Rd.) you will need to be in the right lane. Your first stop will be the pass office, which is on the right just before the two lanes merge into one. Go to the drive-up window and pick up your parking passes.
Back on Queens Folly you will continue straight (don’t enter the traffic circle) until you reach the guardhouse. The guard will see your pass and wave you through. Captains Walk will be on your left just across the bridge and past the Disney beach house. Unit 413 is in the first of the three Captains Walk buildings.
Arrival at the villa
Grab a cart near the elevators, load it up, and head to the third floor. You will have an access code that will allow you into the unit (you might want to check it out before you even unload). The unit will have been professionally cleaned (including wiping down all surfaces) and then inspected, so if anything is out of place or lacking, please let us know as soon as you can. The cleaning service will have changed all the linens and towels and left hotel-sized shampoo and soaps.
Hilton Head tap water does have a slight taste, so we have installed a refrigerator that has a filter that removes almost all of the ‘flavor’ from the water and ice.
Instructions for the WiFi are located on a sheet inside the villa. We also have provided a free Netflix account for your use in the main room. Look for the small remote with a ‘Netflix’ button on it.
Enjoy your time on the island!
There is a lot of information on this website about dining, the area, and places you might want to visit. Several dining options are an easy walk from the villa, and since we are centrally located no place on the island takes more than 15 minutes to reach by car. And if you have any questions during your stay feel free to send us an email at email@example.com.
When you leave
Make sure you have all the items that you came with, and we ask that you do just a few things before you depart:
- Clean out any food in the refrigerator and freezer
- Start the dishwasher (if there are any dishes in it)
- Take out the trash
We have a cleaning service that will be coming in, and then an inspector will follow before the next guest. We hope you had a wonderful time and will consider visiting us again in the future!
